In addition Ersek serves as chairman at the Western Union International Bank.
Ersek joined Western Union in 1999 as regional vice president for South Europe. He was later appointed to the position of senior vice president Europe Middle East Africa and South Asia and then became executive vice president. Ersek began his career in the financial-services industry at Europay/MasterCard in Austria. He later joined General Electric Capital.
