Former NBA basketball player Herb Williams. From 1982 through 1999, he spent eighteen seasons in the NBA. He was chosen by the Indiana Pacers in 1982 after attending Ohio State University. After the 1988-1989 season, he was dealt with the Dallas Mavericks. He was signed by the New York Knicks in 1993 and spent six years as an assistant coach to perennial All-Star Patrick Ewing. Williams was a key member of the squad that reached the NBA Finals in 1994 and 1999.
