Lance Leipold, an American football coach, and former player, was born on May 6, 1964. After spending eight seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, he is presently the head football coach at the University of Buffalo (UWW).
The Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks won the NCAA Division III National Football Championship during his time at UWW in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014, and finished in second place in 2008. Mount Union was their foe in each of the championship matches.
