Heberto places a high value on community service. He was the first Hispanic to serve as Governor of the American Advertising Federation's 10th District. He is also a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and was appointed by Texas Governor Rick Perry to the State Emergency 9-1-1 Communications Commission.
