Dr. Heather Berlin serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York where she works as a distinguished cognitive neuroscientist and clinical psychologist. She investigates brain functions related to impulse control and compulsive behaviors and consciousness and unconscious processes and creativity through fMRI and neuropsychological testing and deep brain stimulation trials to develop new treatments.

Heather received her clinical training at Weill Cornell and Icahn School of Medicine before developing a holistic therapeutic approach which combines CBT with mindfulness and humanistic methods to support patients across all ages who have anxiety and mood disorders and OCD.
