They are most known for their 1997 breakthrough song "MMMBop," which was featured on their first album "Middle of Nowhere," and garnered them three Grammy nominations.
The Hanson brothers started off by improvising in their garage and self-releasing two albums, "Boomerang" and "Mambo." The brothers' debut album, "Middle of Nowhere," was released in 1997 and became an instant hit. In 1998, three Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal were given out.
