He is also director of the American Energy Innovation Council a consortium of prominent American CEOs organized to promote new energy technology. Previously he founded ClimateWorks Foundation a network of 13 regional foundations and expert teams who promote policies to reduce the threat of climate change. Harvey has served on energy panels appointed by presidents Bush (41) and Clinton.
