Guy Langford Biography

Guy Langford is Deloitte's Transportation, Hospitality, and Services Leader (TH&S) in the United States. Guy leads a multi-disciplinary client service team that assists leading hospitality, aviation, gaming & casinos, restaurant & food service, transportation, and health & wellness companies in 1) improving the customer experience, 2) achieving operational excellence, and 3) driving digital and tech innovation. Guy has significant expertise advising both financial sponsors and corporate clients on due diligence, accounting structuring issues, and the financial and operational elements of transactions in many industries. He also works closely with many clients on post-acquisition and advising activities, such as integration efforts to obtain maximum transaction value and consideration of different exit alternatives such as sale, joint venture, and IPO. Guy was Deloitte's National M&A TH&S and Real Estate (RE) Leader prior to becoming the US TH&S Leader, where he worked on some of the largest and most complicated transactions in recent years, including both domestic and cross-border transactions in the public and non-public sectors. Guy is a regular presenter at numerous travel, hospitality & leisure, and real estate conferences and summits, including the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) and the New York Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, in addition to client service and leadership duties. Guy has been featured on television and in print, and he is the author of many Deloitte pieces. Guy, who is originally from Australia, earned his bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Melbourne. Since 1997, I've been based in New York. He has over 25 years of public accounting experience and is a Chartered Accountant in Australia as well as a certified CPA in the United States (Illinois and New York).
