Guster is a Boston, Massachusetts-based alternative rock band. The ensemble, which was founded in 1991, is well-known for its live performances and sense of humour. While attending Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, founding members Adam Gardner, Ryan Miller, and Brian Rosenworcel decided to start practicing.
The members met during the freshmen Wilderness Orientation program in August 1991, and they debuted as a trio two months later at the Midnight Cafe coffee shop in the Lewis Hall dormitory's common room.
