Dr. Smith is an Associate Professor and the Chairman of the Management Information Systems Department at Xavier University's Williams College of Business in Cincinnati, Ohio. Formerly a benefits consultant and database manager, he now focuses on business intelligence research and education, with expertise in predictive analytics and ethical data mining techniques. He is a co-inventor of the American Dream indices developed by Xavier University, including the American Dream Composite IndexTM (ADCI) and the American Dream Economic IndexTM.
