Greg Selkoe is the CEO and proprietor of Karmaloop.com, a streetwear shop. Selkoe was born and reared in Boston's Jamaica Plain area and holds a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School. Before founding Karmaloop.com, Selkoe worked as an urban planner for the city of Boston at the Boston Redevelopment Authority, focusing on housing.
Selkoe founded the firm in his parents' basement after recognizing the need for a worldwide streetwear distributor. In less than ten years, Karmaloop.com has grown to become the world's largest online streetwear shop, carrying over 200 brands and selling in over 35 countries.
