It's been nearly 25 years since Captain Greg Mayer migrated south to North Carolina from New Jersey and hes still trying to shake off the Yankee stigma that's followed him ever since.Born and bred in the Garden State Greg began working professionally on fishing vessels at the young age of 14.
Infatuated with the study of marine life Greg graduated with a degree in Biology from Bates College in Lewiston Maine and quickly returned to fishing working for several boats before eventually earning his captains license at the age of 31.Since then he has skippered vessels from Maine to the Bahamas fishing for everything from marlin to fluke to tuna.
