As a Marine stationed in El Toro California in the 1970s Greg decided to pursue his real estate license in his spare time. Having earned his license he quickly developed an intense passion for marketing studying the subject relentlessly reading every marketing and advertising book imaginable and applying the learned techniques to his real estate career.
This forward-thinking approach made Greg one of the first real estate professionals to practice marketing techniques that focused on promoting himself not the homes he was selling. His real estate career spanned general sales management and ownership but Greg soon found his marketing expertise pulling him in a new direction. Once other agents began to regularly inquire about the possibility of Greg creating marketing campaigns for their businesses Greg decided to pursue his passion and joined forces with Don Hobbs to open the doors of Hobbs/Herder in 1986.
As the company's Chief Executive Officer Greg has had an incredibly positive impact on thousands of real estate careers over the years.
