Greg Ballard has a distinguished career in the gaming, entertainment, and multimedia industries, having served as CEO of SONICblue, makers of the ReplayTV and Rio digital music players; MyFamily.com, a successful subscription-based Internet service; and 3Dfx, where he grew the company from $4 million to an annualized rate of more than $400 million over a three-year period. He formerly worked as CEO and COO of Warner Custom Music, a Time Warner, Inc. business. Ballard was also the president of Capcom Software, the company's US division famed for hits including Street Fighter, Mega-Man, and Resident Evil, as well as the COO and CFO of Digital Pictures, a major Sega CD video game developer. Ballard has recently been on the boards of directors of xFire, an online gaming platform and community bought by Viacom in April 2006, as well as THQ (NASDAQ: THQI), Pinnacle Systems, and IGN. He graduated from the University of Redlands with a B.A. and from Harvard Law School with a J.D.
