Greensky Bluegrass, a five-piece American bluegrass/rock band founded in Kalamazoo, Michigan in mid-2000, embodies more than just music for Anders Beck [dobro], Michael Arlen Bont [banjo], Dave Bruzza [guitar], Mike Devol [upright bass], and Paul Hoffman [Mandolin] after spending 18 years together, with about 175 shows per year, nearly 1,000 different set lists, six studio albums and a litany of live releases.
It embodies an strong creative bond, brotherhood, and a lifelong commitment to fans; the band means everything (and more) to the Kalamazoo, MI bluegrass mavericks. The band evolved over the years, from 3 to 5 members, adding electric effects, and touring with a full light show.
