Gordon Miller, a 32-year veteran of the beauty business, attributes much of his good fortune to the individuals who spend their lives working in and around professional salons and cosmetology schools. He relocated to Denver after graduating from college and worked as a beauty school supervisor.
He fell in love with the people in the profession right away, and by 1982, he was the director of a Utah-based network of beauty schools. He joined the National Cosmetology Association as Executive Director in 1998. He left NCA after 11 years to join behindthechair.com, the world's largest online network of salon professionals.
