He relocated to Denver after graduating from college and worked as a beauty school supervisor. He fell in love with the people in the profession right away, and by 1982, he was the director of a Utah-based network of beauty schools. He is currently the CEO of Hairbrained, a community of hairdressers who share their work and expertise.
