Geoffrey Fletcher is an Academy Award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker who has written and directed a number of short films. He began producing films as a youngster, using a video camera and a cast of toys and action figures. His admittance to NYU's Tisch Graduate Film Program, which he attended after graduating from Harvard University, was partly due to those films.
He's also worked as an assistant to Martin Scorsese and trained under Spike Lee. Geoffrey wrote, directed, photographed, and edited the short film MAGIC MARKERS, which garnered awards from the Directors Guild of America and the Sundance Film Festival. New York University's Graduate and Undergraduate Film Programs have since included film as part of their curriculum.
