Geoffrey Joseph Rowley Junior (born June 6, 1976) is an English professional skateboarder and proprietor of the Civilware Service Corporation. Rowley won Thrasher Magazine's renowned Skater of the Year title, which is assessed and given annually. Rowley began skating in 1989 in his hometown of Liverpool, England, United Kingdom. Rowley was a skateboarding aficionado. He would skate for full days, but his pals would only skate for a few hours at a time. Rowley told the rad magazine in a recent interview that he originally became interested in skateboarding because "a lot of students in my school were into skating, and I grew fascinated via them." Rowley stated in the same interview that both of his parents were supportive of his skating, however, his father did not approve of his lounging around the home all day. Rowley was sponsored by Gullwing, Siesta, Airwalk, and Jeremy at the time of the interview.
