Geoff Parker Ph.D. is a worldwide authority on platform business strategy and digital transformation. As the Charles E. Hutchinson ’68A Professor of Engineering Innovation and Executive Director of the Master of Engineering Management program at Dartmouth College he also serves as Faculty Director of the Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy & Society. Parker received the 2019 Thinkers50 Digital Thinking Award and became one of the world's top 50 management thinkers in 2021 and 2023 because of his fundamental work on two-sided markets and network economics.
Parker co-authored the bestseller Platform Revolution (2016) which helped establish how Amazon, Airbnb and Facebook generate value through user and provider connections. His ongoing research focuses on platform ecosystems and data product management and generative AI integration and sustainability initiatives that include smart cities and energy systems.
