In 1994 Gena saw an ad in the paper for The Price Is Right. At the cattle-call audition she beat out hundreds of others winning a spot as one of the game show's showcase models otherwise known as Barker's Beauties. Nolin appeared on The Young & The Restless playing the part of a young model named Sandy.
In addition to her role on Baywatch Gena can be seen doing guest commentary on the popular entertainment magazine show Extra! She also hosted a USA Network Special The 50th Anniversary of the Bikini.In 1998 Nolin quit Baywatch and starred in her own TV show Sheena for Sony in 2000.
