Pamela Skaist-Levy is one half of the duo that made Juicy Couture what it is today. Pamela and her co-founder Gela Taylor both grew up in Encino California wanting to be fashion designers but at their young age that was only a dream that they never thought would actually happen.
Pamela grew up and graduated from the Design and Merchandise Institute in Los Angles and worked in a boutique designing windows. Meanwhile Gela got her theater degree and landed roles in the Body Double and the TV show Hill Street Blues. They later started making designs but didn’t think many people would like their ideas.
