Gary DiCamillo Biography

Gary T. DiCamillo is a speaker and the Managing Partner of Eaglepoint Advisors, a San Francisco and Boston-based turnaround management and advising business. DiCamillo uses his 28 years of turnaround management expertise to assist private equity and other financial sponsors on how to turn around failing and troubled organizations. Prior to joining Eaglepoint, DiCamillo was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Resourcing (US and UK), a Dedham, Massachusetts-based collection of privately held technical, professional, and commercial staffing firms. From July 2002 until July 2009, DiCamillo was the CEO of six employment firms in the United States and Europe, increasing sales from $800 million to $1.5 billion. For over seven years, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Polaroid Corporation. He has also worked at Black & Decker Corporation as President of Worldwide Power Tools and Accessories and Culligan U.S.A., a part of Beatrice Corporation, as VP/General Manager. He began his career in Brand Management with Procter & Gamble, then worked for McKinsey & Company for several years. Whirlpool Corporation, Pella Corporation, Universal Trailer Corporation, and The Sheridan Group, Inc. all have DiCamillo on their boards. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Babson College, the Museum of Science in Boston, and the Massachusetts Business Roundtable all have him on their boards of trustees. DiCamillo graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA in 1975. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute awarded him a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
