Gary D. Burnison is the Chief Executive Officer of Korn/Ferry International, a global leader in executive recruiting and a top provider of talent management solutions that helps global businesses achieve remarkable results through talent. Korn/Ferry employs over 2,500 individuals across 40 countries. He also sits on the Firm's Board of Directors. Mr. Burnison leads the Firm's transformation into a diverse human capital organization as part of his strategy. He offers hands-on expertise to his present role, having worked as Korn/Chief Ferry's Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer from 2003 to 2007. Mr. Burnison joined Korn/Ferry in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer. From 1999 to 2001, he was the owner and chief financial officer of Guidance Solutions, a privately held consulting business that developed and supported technological solutions. Prior to joining Guidance Solutions, Mr. Burnison worked as a senior executive officer and director at Jefferies & Company, Inc., the primary operational company of Jefferies Group, Inc., from 1995 to 1999. From 1984 through 1995, he was a partner at KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Burnison released No Fear of Failure: Real Stories of How Leaders Deal with Risk and Change in 2011 - a book that features candid discussions with some of the world's most influential leaders in industry, politics, education, and philanthropy. He also contributes regularly to CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, and other foreign news sites. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
