Surender Verma, Gajendra's father, was a Ph.D. in Hindi literature, lyricist, writer, teacher, and performer. His mother, Chand Verma, is a housewife.
Gajendra's three older siblings have a sensitive ear and a warm heart for music. Gajendra began performing music on stage at the age of three.
