He started the Yale Anti-Gravity Society, the university's juggling club, while at Yale University. After graduating from Yale, he studied physical theatre with Avner Eisenberg, Julie Goell, Fred Garbo, and Tony Montanaro at Celebration Barn Theater's acclaimed performing arts school.
