Frank Welker Biography

Frank Welker is probably one of the most often heard voices on television radio and in motion pictures. He is the voice of many popular cartoon characters such as Hefty and Poet Smurf of the Smurfs Baby Kermit and Skeeter on the Emmy Award-winning show The Muppet Babies Slimer of the Ghostbuster series and seven characters in Transformers including Soundwave and Megatron leader of the Decepticons.
In addition to providing voices for countless other commercials Frank is the voice of several bugs on those RAID spots. He is also the voice of Crackle in Kelloggs Rice Krispies Snap Crackle and Pop commercials.
Frank has also been called upon to provide his special vocal talents in numerous motion pictures including the voice of the monkey in Raiders of the Lost Ark Stripe the evil gremlin in the Gremlins various disgusting sounds and demonic voices in The Witches of Eastwick and The Golden Child.
Welker is primarily known for voicing Fred Jones in the animated Scooby-Doo franchise.
