Frank Turner is a Meonstoke, Hampshire-based folk/punk singer-songwriter. Turner began his career as the frontman of the post-hardcore band Million Dead, but after the band disbanded in 2005, he pursued a largely acoustic-based solo career.
Turner is joined in the studio and on stage by his backup band, The Sleeping Souls, which includes Ben Lloyd (guitar, mandolin), Tarrant Anderson (bass), Matt Nasir (piano), and Nigel Powell (drums). Turner has five solo albums, two rarities compilation albums, one split album, and five EPs to his credit.
