Franchesca Maia is a 15-year-old singer and actress born in London England. She is of Russian-Jewish and Colombian descent. When Franchesca was two years old she moved to Spain with her family. At the age of nine Franchesca showed her interest in singing and acting.
She then started her training with a vocal coach; performed in various theater productions; did Film TV and print work in both England and Spain. In 2010 Franchesca created her YouTube Channel to showcase her vocal abilities. That same year Franchesca became the winner of a Disney Channel acting contest in Spain (chosen amongst over 8000 video auditions).
