Florian Roth, the CTO of Nextron Systems GmbH, has been working in the information security business since 2003. Florian is the author of APT Scanner THOR – Scanner for Attacker Activity and Hack Tools, as well as the inventor of Valhalla, Nextron's most extensive handmade Yara rule feed service. He co-founded the Sigma project with Thomas Patzke.
Sigma is an open standard that serves as a general rule format for SIEM systems and is accepted by MISP as a de-factor standard for SIEM inquiries.
