Fiona Shaw is an Irish actress and theater and opera director. She is best known for playing Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter movies. She plays Carolyn Martens in BBC's Killing Eve a performance that won her the 2019 BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress.
Shaw also has experience in theater having played the title role in Medea on Broadway and the West End. In both 1990 and 1994 Shaw won the Olivier Award for Best Actress which is an award that recognizes the accomplishments of actors in British commercial theater.
Shaw identifies as lesbian and is married to economist Sonali Deraniyagala.
