Fiona Hill is director of the Center on the United States and Europe and a senior fellow in the foreign policy program at Brookings Institution. From 2006 to 2009, she was on leave from Brookings as the National Intelligence Council’s national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia. Previously, she was strategic planning director at Eurasia Foundation.
Hill is co-author of Mr. Putin: Operative in the Kremlin and The Siberian Curse and author of the monograph, Energy Empire: Oil, Gas and Russia’s Revival. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a trustee of the Eurasia Foundation.
