Raised atheist/agnostic/Reform Jewish Eve Tushnet came out to herself as a lesbian around the age of 13 and to her family sometime shortly afterward. She became a Catholic when she was 20.
She didn’t know of any other LGBT Catholics at that time and converted fully expecting to be the only one.She has found ways of expressing her love for women through work with a crisis pregnancy centre and has also been involved in local parish ministry to gay Catholics and their families.
