Her culinary approach is distinct, founded on French philosophy and influenced by North African, West African, Cuban, and Vietnamese influences. Her cooking approach reflects her passion for strong, rich, and exotic tastes, as well as cool, clean contrasts and textures. Eve: Contemporary Cuisine, Methode Traditionelle, is the author of her own cookbook, and she was recently invited to arrange a multi-course meal to demonstrate her style of cooking at The James Beard Foundation in New York. She was also a delegate for the Slow Food Movement at Terra Madre, the bi-annual international slow food gathering in Torino, Italy, which was created to help enable working directly with local farmers and craftsmen.
