Eugene Mitch Mitchell works at San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern California Gas Co. as vice president of state and government affairs. Mitchell was vice president of public policy and communications at the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce before joining SDG&E in 2005.
He worked in the San Diego office of then-Mayor Susan Golding as an assistant director of governmental relations from 1996 to 1997. Mitchell is a board member of the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, the California Asian Chamber of Commerce, the San Diego Food Bank, and the Children's Museum, as well as the San Diego Opera and the Burn Institute.
