Erika Ayers Badan serves as a business executive author and keynote speaker who specializes in building media brands and developing consumer-focused platforms. After completing her B.A. in Sociology at Colby College she started her career at Fidelity Investments before advancing through marketing leadership positions at Yahoo! and Microsoft and Demand Media and AOL.

Erika made history in July 2016 when she became the inaugural CEO of Barstool Sports which specializes in sports and lifestyle media content for men. During her eight years as CEO she transformed the company from a local blog into a national leader through revenue growth of 5,000% while establishing a top 10 podcast publisher in the U.S. and making Barstool one of the world's top 6 TikTok brands. Fast Company named her to their list of "Most Creative People in Business" and Forbes recognized her as one of their "Most Powerful Women in Sports." She served as an active member on multiple boards which included Premier Lacrosse League, WWE, Torchy’s Tacos and AXON Enterprise.
