Erica Walker, MSc, ScD, is a BU School of Public Health postdoctoral fellow. She is an environmental epidemiologist and exposure assessment scientist with over ten years of experience in the field of environmental noise. She has published, taught, and testified extensively on the effects of low and high-frequency sound on community health. Dr.
Walker is also the creator of Noise and the City, a community noise advocacy group where she established the Greater Boston Neighborhood Noise survey, the first interactive community noise report, the NoiseScore smart phone app, and the nation's first Neighborhood Noise Report Cards.
