Eric James O'Shea was born in the city of New Haven in the state of Connecticut. He was an altar boy, a geek, and dreamed to be a future Dallas Cowboys quarterback and wide receiver while playing football at St. Brendan's School from grades K to 8.
He proceeded to Fairfield Prep, an all-boys high school, and then to Marquette University, where he majored in Sports Broadcasting. In college, he discovered his passion for making people laugh, and for the following three years after graduation, he toured the Midwest doing every act he could, paid or unpaid.
