From 1997 to 2012, Eric Manheimer, MD, was the medical director of Bellevue and is now a Clinical Professor at New York University School of Medicine. He is an Internist who received his training in Internal Medicine at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
He relocated to Hanover, New Hampshire after completing his Chief Residency there, where he spent several years as a member of Dartmouth Medical School and the Hitchcock Clinic. He has a long history of interest in international health, having worked in Haiti and Pakistan, as well as medical anthropology, history, social sciences, and literature, especially in Latin America.
