Eric Lichtblau Biography

Eric Lichtblau is an American journalist who works for The New York Times' Washington office. In September 2002, Lichtblau began working for The New York Times as a Justice Department correspondent. Prior to joining the New York Times, Lichtblau spent 15 years at the Los Angeles Times, where he covered the Justice Department in their Washington office from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, Lichtblau worked for the Los Angeles Times investigative team, where he covered a variety of law enforcement beats. Lichtblau was born in Syracuse, New York, and received his bachelor's degree in 1987 from Cornell University. Lichtblau shared the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for national reporting with fellow New York Times reporter James Risen. Bush's Law: The Remaking of American Justice is his first book.
