Eric Konkol is a former player and college basketball coach in the United States. He now serves as the head coach of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Eric Konkol was named the 19th head coach of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs basketball team on May 18, 2015.
He took over for former head coach Michael White, who left to become the head coach at the University of Florida. A five-year, $2 million deal was purportedly offered to Konkol. He inherits a club that has won three consecutive regular-season conference championships.
