Since April 2017, Emma Walmsley has been the CEO of GSK. She also serves on the GSK Board of Directors. Emma was the CEO of GSK Consumer Healthcare, a joint venture between GSK and Novartis, from March 2015 to September 2016, when she was named GSK CEO Designate.
GSK Consumer Healthcare is one of the world's largest consumer health firms, with sales of £6 billion in 2015. Emma has been a member of GSK's Corporate Executive Team since 2011 and was formerly President of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare. She joined GSK in 2010 as the European Consumer Healthcare Director.
