Elle Currano is a paleontologist and professor in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Wyoming.Currano research uses fossil plants to investigate the response of ancient forest ecosystems to environmental perturbations.She is also an advocate for women in the workplace particularly in the field of science.In 2014 Currano created the Bearded Lady Project: Challenging the Face of Science along with Lexi Jamieson Marsh and photographer Kelsey Vance.
