After holding a variety of positions at Starbucks, King is presently the vice president of information management services. Her teams include those in charge of information security and business records. These teams are also in charge of enterprise policy governance and oversee all enterprise information initiatives managed by Starbucks. Prior to her present position, King held positions of leadership in the Starbucks IT group (supporting North American retail, foreign operations, and human resources) and the Starbucks HR department. She has over 25 years of experience working as an employee and as a consultant with retail businesses. Policy management, identity management, threat and compliance management, data categorization, incident response, and information security awareness and training are all responsibilities of King's information security team. King is a Phi Beta Kappa and a political science graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
