Elana Schor is a political reporter for the Associated Press covering the 2020 campaign. Prior to beginning her work with AP Schor worked as a Congressional Reporter for POLITICO. In that position Schor covered the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings and the effect the #MeToo movement has had on Capitol Hill.
Prior to joining POLITICO as an oil and gas reporter Schor covered politics for Environment & Energy Daily. She has more than a decade’s worth of Hill reporting experience writing on congressional politics for The Guardian Talking Points Memo and The Hill and serving as the first editor of the infrastructure news site Streetsblog Capitol Hill.
A native of New York City Schor earned her master's degree from Northwestern University and her bachelor's degree from Columbia University.
