Ego Nwodim is an actress and comedian who is a regular on Saturday Night Live's 44th season. After graduating from the University of Southern California, Nwodim began attending lessons at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in Los Angeles, where she began her comedic career.
Nwodim was a frequent cast member at UCB before joining SNL, and she also performed her one-woman show Great Black Women...and Then There's Me there. At 2016 Just for Laughs festival, Nwodim was chosen as one of the New Faces. She also performed in the CBS Diversity Showcase that year.
