Since 1985, Edward P. Lazear has been the Morris Arnold and Nona Jean Cox Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, and since 1992, he has also been the Davies Family Professor of Economics at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
Professor Lazear was previously the Brown Professor of Urban and Labor Economics at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. From 2006 until 2009, Lazear was Chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers and worked at the White House.
