International energy expert with over 30 years of oil industry experience, Edward Chow, is a senior fellow in the Energy and National Security Program at CSIS and has worked in South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the former Soviet Union. He has successfully negotiated complex, multibillion-dollar international business ventures and developed business strategy and policy.
Oil and gas investments in emerging economies are his areas of specialization. He has counseled international oil companies, multinational corporations, multilateral agencies, U.S. and foreign governments and international financial institutions. He can be found at the Elliott School for International Affairs at George Washington University, teaching part-time. Chow worked with Chevron Corporation in the U.S.
