Eden Grinshpan earned the Grande Diplome in Pastry and Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu in London. She moved to India after graduation to help with several organizations, one of which was the Ramanas Garden orphanage. She came up with the idea of reopening the orphanage's café, which had been closed for some time, to raise funds for the charity.
Eden returned to New York City and participated in The Institute of Culinary Education's management program before working at Babycakes Bakery.
