Ed Kless Biography

Ed Kless is the senior director of partner growth and strategy at Sage, having joined the company in July of 2003. He creates and conducts training on the art and practice of small company advising for Sage business partners. Sage Consulting Academy, Business Strategy, and Customer Experience Workshops are among the courses available. Ed is the author of The Soul of Enterprise: Dialogues on Business in the Knowledge Economy, a collection of episodes from his VoiceAmerica talk-show The Soul of Enterprise: Business in the Knowledge Economy, which he co-hosts with Ron Baker, the founder of the VeraSage Institute, where he is also a senior fellow. Ed formerly served at Tipping Point Advisors, a company that focuses on the growth and development of software implementation partners. Third Wave Business Systems, a Microsoft Dynamics GP partner that expanded to 20 employees and $5 million in revenue, was co-founded by him in 1996. Ed managed the CRM and ERP consulting teams at Third Wave and established the implementation methodology. Ed has contributed to industry journals such as the Journal of Accountancy, Harvard Business Review, and HR.com, and has lectured on project management, pricing, and knowledge workers at several conferences around the world. In addition, he is a member of the Information Technology Alliance (ITA), the Strategic Leadership Association, and Toastmasters. He and his wife and two children live north of Dallas, and he ran for Texas State Senate as a Libertarian in 2010 and 2012. He is now the head of the Collin County Libertarian Party.
