Ed Ashurst has seven novels under his belt and is now working on his eighth. He's also a working cowboy with over fifty years of experience as a big ranch cowboy, having ridden and gathered cattle and horses throughout over seven thousand square miles of the American West. In southeastern Arizona, he presently operates a huge cattle ranch.
Ashurst has participated in the rodeo arena for over fifty years and has been engaged in the production of rodeos, horse exhibitions, and horse auctions. His novels are about his life experiences, and they cover a wide range of topics and events that jog his memory and stoke his fertile imagination.
